About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) who has a consultative business development approach and is able to qualify prospective business customers. As BDR you are the first point of contact for the sales team – you represent an important first impression.

The BDR's primary objective is to help turn outbound leads into qualified opportunities by identifying specific requirements and gathering information regarding the situation and problems of prospective customers to determine if Crehana is the right fit.

You will be able to:

  • Build a phenomenal first impression to prospects and customers while assisting the team on building a solid pipeline for Account Executives.
  • Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly KPIs – leads processed, completed appointments, qualified opportunities, and pipeline progression.
  • Contact prospects with a sense of urgency and record all activities and updates on Salesforce.
  • Analyze lead conversion rates and SLAs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform detailed Salesforce audits, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Work closely with the sales team to continuously improve outbound prospecting processes and best practices.
  • Focus on adding to a phenomenal team environment for a fun and ambitious atmosphere.

You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of business development or phone-based sales experience; software/SaaS experience preferred.
  • Passion for technology and education.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of leads at all times.
  • Commitment to pursuing a career in sales.
  • Proven success managing time and juggling multiple projects in a high growth environment where priorities shift fast.
  • Willingness to learn and willingness to fail, but always willing to try.
  • Desirable: Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM application.
