Here’s where you come in
We’re looking for someone to join us to drive revenue growth by optimising the sales and marketing tech stack, providing data-driven insights to our Commercial teams, and empowering them with effective training and tools.
As well as leading process improvements, you’ll ensure the seamless operation of Salesforce and other key platforms to maximize efficiency and enable data-informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Analysis
- Partner with the Executive team and commercial leads to translate data into actionable insights
- Develop accurate and reliable revenue KPI reports, owning ‘source of truth’ data sources internally
- Recommend account segmentation, aligned to business goals, to improve business focus and efficiency
- Undertake ad hoc data analysis to support business decision-making and storytelling to organisation and external stakeholders
Commercial Forecasting
- Lead weekly and quarterly commercial forecast processes, including delivering business insights that enable trajectory improvement
- Develop financial forecasts from commercial data, partnering the CFO, including invoicing forecasts
Commercial Performance Evaluation
- Lead weekly business reviews, producing accurate and impactful reporting that enables effective decision-making
- Deliver weekly reporting to the commercial teams, including marketing, identifying areas of strength and/or opportunity
Managing Commercial Commission Processes
- Drive commercial compensation planning, driving performance aligned to business goals
- Partner with the CRO to set quotas, leveraging data and analytical thinking to drive performance
- Manage individual quota administration and enable the commercial teams to understand their commission plans
Required Capabilities and Experience
Analytical Thinking
- Strong analytical skills to answer questions, prove hypotheses, and generate actionable insights from performance data
- Ability to translate data into clear and concise recommendations
- Ability to build credible forecasts with complete or ambiguous data
- Experience using Salesforce data to report and forecast performance
Technological Skills
- Excel and Google Sheets expertise to assess, manipulate, analyse, and forecast data
- Strong knowledge of the sales tech stack including CRM (Salesforce), marketing, data enrichment, email and call intelligence tools
Business Acumen
- Excellent understanding of business operations and revenue generation processes.
Partnering and Influence
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to build relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
- Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to adopt data-driven recommendations.
