Position: Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative at Zavvy, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and generating new business opportunities. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and nurturing relationships with potential customers. Your primary goal will be to connect with key decision-makers, identify their needs, and introduce them to the benefits of Zavvy's solutions.

Responsibilities

Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and engage potential customers through various channels such as phone calls, emails, social media, and networking events.
Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the sales team to further engage with prospective clients.
Research and understand the needs of target industries and develop compelling value propositions tailored to specific customer segments.
Effectively communicate Zavvy's value proposition and product features to potential customers.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads using CRM software.
Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and campaigns.
Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors to position Zavvy effectively in the market.
Provide feedback and insights from customer interactions to improve our sales process and product offerings.

Qualifications

Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with prospects and build relationships.
Excellent active listening skills to understand customer needs and pain points.
Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed targets.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficient computer skills and experience working with CRM software.
Familiarity with sales techniques and methodologies is a plus.
Knowledge of the employee onboarding and training industry is a bonus.
